99% Invisible

Since September 2022, I have developed a visual style for 99% Invisible's social media, particularly in short form videos. When we have a high profile guest, collaboration with another studio, or social brand deal, I will create high-lift, motion graphic videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Starting in the summer of 2025, my wife and I became social media managers for their accounts. Each week we create bespoke key images and quote cards for each new episode of 99PI. These collage style posts are featured on the social media pages as well as the episodic art for their website and newsletters. We also create additional video and image posts to highlight the back catalogue, special events, news items, and collaborations with other podcasts. Since joining in a more focused role last year, we have increased impressions by 136%.

In addition to my social media work, I have produced two stories for 99% Invisible: One Mini-story, which was narrated by LeVar Burton as cross-promo for his Kids & Family podcast Sound Detectives, and the other was a full episode about Emoji Law.
